Family worship

Family is important to us. We are a family-oriented church and as we worship God we love to do this together.

At 1030 on a Sunday morning, we all get together for our family worship service.

The first half of the service is dedicated to worshipping God through song, prayer, bible reading and video; we also often have a quiz, game or story. This aspect of our service is to allow the family to spend time enjoying worshipping God as well as learning something new about God.

During this time, we love it when everyone of all ages stays in the Church. So for smaller infants we have a "Kid's Corner" of the Church that allows them to sit and play - and if they make a bit of noise, that's completely fine. We want families to feel comfortable bringing their small children to church - we don't see it as a burden, but are glad to have them join us.

After about 30 minutes of worship we will hand-over to a speaker and this is when the children can join the kids break-out session. We hold this out in the Church Hall or in the break-out lounge and there are a range of activities led by some of the Church members. (We understand that child safety is of utmost concern - as such all our ministry leaders have been DBS checked and we follow CCPAS best practice guidelines.)

We celebrate communion every Sunday (excluding our CafeChurch Sunday service) during our regular Sunday worship.
